Finally tried the winblades. After hundreds of hours in this game over the years I had never used the sellsword twinblades. Hell, I never even built a dex build, I always did strength or quality. I wanted to see what the hype was about so I did a dex twinblades run and good god...it absolutely melts PvE. There were numerous times a boss died ...Pure dex is pretty straightforward, by the time your build is done you want to have around 80 dex if possible. This is because dexterity starts scaling well (w/ Sharp infusion) again from 60-80. In this case you’ll infuse your twin blades with Sharp and supplement your damage with resins and bundles.
Sellsword Twinblade Builds? I've been playing around with these and they are pretty fun. I'm thinking of respecing my knight around this. There are also paired weapons like the twinblades, but according to the wiki, that's just fist/claw weapons, the Ornamental Straight Sword (s) and the Starscourge Greatsword (s).Lore. Sellsword Twinblades is straight up better since bleed got nerfed into near-uselessness. There's a bigger problem though; >60 STR/50 DEX Holy hell, fix that garbage. If you're going physical, you'd be far better off going minimum STR requirement and 80 DEX with sharp twinblades. They're probably going for that so they can use any weapon for PvE. Pure dex, pontuff rings, old wolf curved sword on your back much better than a buff build. Lightning blade barely beats out resins at 30 Fth. I'm using Sharp uchigatana and sellswords that I just got and I wanna make them blessed for regen.One shot the world with a single combo, just do this frame-perfect glitch every time you want to buff it!No hatemail?! This let's me fashionably switch between the two, and the twinblades can also be used as a parrying tool when I'm one-handing the Astora's. What I just want is help with the timing. From my guesses, you need to parry about .7 seconds before the attack registers with your character.
